Learn more →Optima Health Solutions provides a range of non-CQC regulated support activities that complement our clinical occupational therapy offer. These services are designed to bridge gaps between formal care and everyday independence — providing practical, flexible assistance that helps individuals maintain daily routines, engage with their community, and live as independently as possible.
These activities fall outside the scope of CQC regulation and are distinct from our regulated OT clinical services.
Learn more →Optima Health Solutions works in partnership with social prescribers and link workers to provide timely, specialist occupational therapy input for individuals whose needs go beyond what social prescribing alone can address. Where a social prescriber identifies that a person's barriers to wellbeing — such as reduced function, difficulty with daily activities, or environmental challenges — require clinical OT assessment, we offer a responsive referral pathway with minimal waiting time.
Our OTs provide practical, person-centred assessments and interventions that complement the holistic, community-based approach at the heart of social prescribing — helping people regain confidence, independence, and active participation in their communities.
Learn more →Specialist OT-led project management for Single Handed Care programmes, Major Adaptations waiting list clearance, and Care Package Reviews. We help local authorities, NHS Trusts, and social care providers address systemic challenges at scale — delivering measurable outcomes for both individuals and organisations.
Learn more →Optima Health Solutions works alongside local authorities, NHS Trusts, private individuals, case managers, and solicitors — providing specialist OT capacity, expert assessments, and high-quality reports that make a real difference to outcomes.
Local authorities carry a profound responsibility to their residents — ensuring that people of all abilities can access the support, adaptations, and care they need to live independently. Optima Health Solutions works directly alongside local authorities as a trusted, specialist OT partner, helping teams deliver better outcomes for residents while managing resource pressures.
From statutory housing and disability assessments through to complex care planning and community reablement programmes, our therapists integrate seamlessly with existing local authority structures — augmenting capacity without adding permanent overhead.
Waiting lists remain one of the most pressing challenges facing NHS occupational therapy teams. Optima Health Solutions provides skilled, HCPC-registered therapists who can be deployed rapidly to address backlogs, support Discharge to Assess pathways, and ensure patients receive timely, person-centred interventions.
By embedding additional OT capacity within NHS systems, we help prevent the delays in care that lead to longer hospital stays, increased dependency, and poorer long-term outcomes — supporting both patient welfare and the sustainability of overstretched services.
For individuals who prefer not to wait for statutory services, or whose needs fall outside NHS provision, Optima Health Solutions offers direct-access, fully private occupational therapy. Whether you're managing the aftermath of an injury, navigating a long-term condition, or simply want expert support to maintain your independence, we provide responsive, unhurried care centred entirely around you.
There is no GP referral required. We work at a pace that suits you, in the setting of your choice — at home, in clinic, or via video.
We understand the demands placed on case managers coordinating care for clients with catastrophic or acquired injuries. Optima Health Solutions provides experienced OTs who can be instructed quickly, work efficiently within multidisciplinary frameworks, and produce clear, well-evidenced reports that support case management goals.
Our therapists are experienced in attending case conferences, contributing to care planning meetings, and delivering interventions that align with the broader rehabilitation programme — giving case managers a dependable, specialist resource they can return to.
Optima Health Solutions works with care homes to provide specialist occupational therapy input that improves the quality of life and functional independence of residents. From moving and handling assessments and equipment recommendations through to falls prevention programmes and activity-based interventions, our OTs support care home teams to deliver person-centred, dignity-preserving care.
We also assist care homes in meeting regulatory requirements by providing detailed OT assessments that inform care plans and evidence the appropriateness of support being delivered.

"The Occupational Therapy Department in Central Beds Council (CBC) employed NK Therapies (now Optima Health Solutions) for a period of 25 weeks from September 2022 to support Moving with Dignity assessments. The purpose of the project was providing an assessment from therapist in respect to the number of carers that were supporting people and ensure that the care being delivered was appropriate.
"NK Therapies worked well with CBC to understand the objectives we were trying to achieve. They were pleasant, approachable, and responsive. They demonstrated excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as perseverance in navigating the CBC IT systems and processes. Thuli and the team used their initiative and were autonomous in practice and managing the assessments.
"They provided excellent detailed outcome information which highlighted not only the financial benefits of the work but also the qualitative aspects for individuals around safety, dignity, and independence. In terms of clinical knowledge and expertise the team have extensive experience and showed their willingness to support system wide working closely with domiciliary care agencies and adult social care teams. It was a pleasure to work with them and if the opportunity arises, I will approach Thuli and her team to work with us again."
